"Recently I got a Google Android mobile phone Samsung Galaxy I7500. While I'm loving playing with it, I also found some interesting secret codes which can enable/disable lots of hidden settings in the mobile phone. These codes can also show many useful information about the phone."

Microsoft MVP Vishal Gupta owns a web site dedicated to "tweaking" a variety of things, from operating systems to applications and beyond. This ongoing technology journey into modification has now expanded into the world of the Android OS. Apparently there are a great number of special "#" codes that can be used to uncover a variety of information and perform special tasks. Note that many of these "tasks" are not for the faint of heart and can potentially make a device unusable.

If you are an Android developer or very experienced Android user, you might want to check out this list of secret codes as a way to help you diagnose device conditions or issues. Just be certain to read this post carefully and proceed with caution.
