Overclocked Droids Reaching 3GHz

"Late last week the mobile tech sites were all abuzz over some overclocking. According to the BoyGeniusReport, the Droid X and the Droid 2 have been reported of getting overclock speeds up to 3GHz."
Check out the Read link to see the video of this mobile device with a processor faster than the netbook I'm writing this on. While the responses all claim this is a hoax, they must be getting some amount of extra speed from it.
