T-Mobile Calling All Hands: June 18 Fathers Day Sale Imminent

Posted by Jason Lee in "Android Mobile Operators" @ 01:00 AM

http://www.tmonews.com/2011/05/t-mo...le-for-june-18/

"While we wait for a "Sensational" announcement later on this evening perhaps this bit of news will be exciting even for those who aren't eagerly awaiting the Sensation 4G launch. T-Mobile is set to announce another a Fathers Day sale for June 18th which will if the information being passed along comes to fruition mirror last years Fathers Day sale."

Finally ready to get Dad off that old StarTAC? Well, perhaps you should be ready to hit up T-Mobile on June 18th for some super daddy day savings. If this sale is anything like last year you should be able to get some pretty sweet deals on some nice Android phones for dear ol' dad. Then all you gotta do is teach him how to use it....

Read It Later For Android Now Available

Posted by Kevin Jackson in "Android Software" @ 07:00 AM

http://downloadsquad.switched.com/2...e-for-99-cents/

"Read It Later, the popular Web reading list app, has finally launched an official Android app. Best of all, it's heavily discounted right now and selling for just 99 cents."

Here is one app that I have been eagerly awaiting for my Nexus One. I am a heavy RSS user, but I get tired of my reader getting filled up with items I plan to read later or want to keep for future reference. Read It Later is a great solution for this, or for those websites you come across that may have great information, tutorials, or step-by-step guides and you just know that you won't remember where they are when you actually need them. Go out and grab it now, while it's on sale for a whopping 80% off!

How do you use Read It Later or other similar services on your Android device?

"Amazon has some amazing deals for those of you looking to pick up a new Android handset this holiday weekend."

Amazon.com has a whole slew of Android phones on sale right now. Some of the phones being offered for only $0.01 are the Samsung Captivate, LG Optimus T, and the Motorola FLIPSIDE. Keep in mind though, that to get the sale price on the phones you have to sign up for a two year agreement. But it may be worth it to get a great deal on some spectacular phones!

Price Rumors Fly As Busy Shopping Days Approach

Posted by Karey Westfall in "Android Talk" @ 04:00 AM

On a non-Android related note, we have been hearing rumors that the Amazon.com Kindle with Wi-Fi may be offered for $99 US on Cyber Monday to compete with the Barnes and Noble Nook with Wi-Fi, which will be on sale through November 27th for $99 US at bestbuy.com. Regularly, the Nook is sold for $149 US and the Kindle for $139 US. It would be crazy for Amazon.com to not offer the same deal on the Kindle, but we will have to wait and see!

Four Phones A Ringing: At T-Mobile For Less Than $100 This Holiday

Posted by Jason Lee in "Android Mobile Operators" @ 10:00 AM

http://www.androidguys.com/2010/11/...es-100-holiday/

"Starting this week, T-Mobile will be offering four Android-based handsets below the $100 price point. While they aren't necessarily the high-end super phones some of you readers might be after, they will definitely attract new Android users."

Happy Holidays, Android junkies! T-Mobile is bringing you a wonderful selection of stocking stuffers to help bring peace, joy, and little green robots to your loved ones this holiday season. For as little as $9.99 (T-Mobile Comet after rebate and contract) you can make those visions of robots dancing in your head a reality. Other options include the LG Optimus T for $29.99, the Motorola DEFY for $99.99, and the Motorola CHARM for $49.99. Anyone looking to spread a little Android cheer this holiday? Heck, at these prices it would be cheaper than that lump of coal you've had your eye on.
