Many Options Available Now With Four New Phones From T-Mobile

Posted by Karey Westfall in "Android Mobile Operators" @ 03:00 AM

http://www.t-mobile.com/

The Motorola Defy, myTouch 4G, LG Optimus T and T-Mobile Comet are ready for purchase now from T-Mobile! Some of the phones are only available online while others are at T-Mobile stores and online. And both the LG Optimus T and the myTouch 4G are available in several colors! So the new releases give you plenty of options to choose from if you are looking to pick up a new or second (or third, fourth...) phone!

Defy The Odds: Motorola DEFY Available From T-Mobile November 3rd

Posted by Jason Lee in "Android News" @ 09:00 AM

Are you a bit of a klutz? Ever dropped your phone in the toilet? Well then, maybe the Motorola DEFY is just the phone for you. The dust proof, water resistant, and maybe a bit more drop proof phone will be available to less than graceful mobile phone users across the US on November 3rd. So put on your helmet and knee pads and get ready to head down to your local T-Mo shoppe to pick one up... then probably drop it a time or two. Anyone out there in need of a phone like this or have a family member that would benefit from a more durable phone? I know I have a few people in mind. ;)

T-Mobile & Motorola Bringing Defy Home for the Holidays

Posted by David Tucker in "Android News" @ 10:13 AM

"Motorola will be making a special appearance on today's season premier of the Oprah Winfrey Show. Why? Because they are going to announce the new ruggedized Defy for T-Mobile USA. That's why! According to the press release that has already hit the wires, the scratch and water resistant smart phone will be available in time for your holiday purchases. A quick primer on the Defy - It will feature a 3.7-inch touch screen, MOTOBLUR, a 5-megapixel camera, and Adobe Flash for the web browser. There's no mention as to what build of Android the phone comes with, but it's definitely not 2.2 as it would feature the full Flash experience."

While my experience with the Cliq XT on T-Mobile has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth for Motorola it's pretty hard to deny that they've been pretty important to the success that Android has seen. Defy is a pretty good looking phone so hopefully it will have the performance to match! Full press release after the break.
